- Coco Angel, born 1973 in Germany, Austrian Nationality. 1992 after high school she qualified at once for the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. The following 5 years she studied Painting in the Masterclass of Arnulf Rainer, Design in the Masterclass of Edelbert Koeb, History of Arts at the University of Vienna and Art-Paedagogics at the Institute for Artsience, Prof. Herwig Zens. 1997 she got a 1 year stipendium at the Accademia di belle Arti di Brera, Milano, Italy. 1998 she degreed with “summa cum laude” at the University Vienna in History and History of Art and with “summa cum laude” at the Academy of Arts Vienna in Painting, Design and Art-Paedagogics. From 1998 to 2002 she tought Art and History of Art at a high school in Vienna. From 2000 to 2002 she tought as a professor at the Institute for Artsience and Institute for History of Art, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Since 2003 she lives in the Dominican Republic, Cabarete, as an independent artist. She spends the winters travelling in Mexico.
